Patron of the Military Wives Foundation

I was delighted and honoured to be asked to be the first Patron of the newly-formed Military Wives Foundation.

It has been set up to support the choirs that have been springing up in garrisons around the world since the programme The Choir: Military Wives aired last year. The aim of the Foundation is to bring women in the military community closer together through singing. Through its growing network of choirs, the Foundation is building something that brightens lives, changes perceptions and strengthens military communities.
